Adding new Property to your Real Estate software


By adding new Sale Properties to your Real Estate software, you will create listings on your website of all the properties available for sale by you.

Adding new sale stock to your Real Estate software:

  1. Click on the Real Estate Properties tab when you are logged into your website account.
  2. Click on the Sale Stock, Rent Stock or Management Rights tab depending on what kind of Property you want to create.
  3. Down the bottom of the screen, click on the Add Sale Stock button.
  4. Choose a propertytype from the drop-down box. The property type you choose will determine what fields you need to fill in next, so be sure to choose correctly. To make it easier, this help article will contain all the possible fields. If a field is missing from the Sale Property you are trying to add, that means that is it not available or relevant to the property type you've chosen.
  5. Edit Sale Property
    • Headline - A description of the property like, "Beautiful waterfront property in Coolangatta"
    • Unique Property Id - If you have a numbering, or Id you can enter that in here.
    • Date Available - The date the property will be available for occupation.
    • Price - The price (in Australian dollars) of the property. This allows people to search for the property based on price range.
    • Show Price on Website - Choose No if you don't want the price to display on your website.
    • Status - The status of the property. If you select Draft, the listing won't appear on your website.
    • Under Offer - Select Yes if the property is currently under offer.
    • Visible - Whether or not the property will be visible on your website.
    • Featured - If you have a Featured Properties section on your website, you can choose to add this property to the section by choosing Yes. If you don't have a Featured Property section and want one, contact us.
    • Authority - The method of sale you are using for this property.
    • Residential Category - Choose from this set list of residential Property Categories. You cannot add to, or remove from, this list.
    • Website Categories - Choose a Website Category for this property. For more information on Website Categories, go to Using Categories in your Real Estate Software
    • Description - Your description of the property.
    • Image on Property Listing - The number of images that are displayed for this property on the property list page.
  6. Synchronisation With Other Real Estate Websites
    • Upload to realestate.com.au - Allows you to upload this Sale Property to Realestate.com.au. Ensure that you have completed all the steps in Setting Up Automatic Uploads to Realestate.com.au before attempting this. Select Yes here everytime you create a new listing, or make a change to an existing listing. After the Sale Property has been upload to Realestate.com.au this field will automatically reset itself to No.
    • Realestate.com.au Unique Id - This will be automatically populated when the Sale Property is first uploaded to Realestate.com.au.
    • Upload to domain.com.au - Allows you to upload this Sale Property to Domain.com.au. Ensure that you have completed all the steps in Setting Up Automatic Uploads to Domain.com.au before attempting this. Select Yes here everytime you create a new listing, or make a change to an existing listing. After the Sale Property has been upload to Realestate.com.au this field will automatically reset itself to No.
    • Domain.com.au Unique Id - This will be automatically populated when the Sale Property is first uploaded to Domain.com.au.
    • Upload to myhome.com.au - Allows you to upload this Sale Property to myhome.com.au. Ensure that you have completed all the steps in Setting Up Automatic Uploads to myhome.com.au before attempting this. Select Yes here everytime you create a new listing, or make a change to an existing listing. After the Sale Property has been upload to Realestate.com.au this field will automatically reset itself to No.
    • myhome.com.au Unique Id - This will be automatically populated when the Sale Property is first uploaded to myhome.com.au.
  7. Address Details
    • Show Address on Website - Whether or not you want the address to appear on your website.

  10. Agents Details - Choose the Agent responsible for this propert. If the Agent you want cannot be found in the drop-down menu, follow the steps in Adding an Agent to your Real Estate Software.
  11. Land Details
  12. Property Features
  13. Select Go back to property list.
  14. Click Save.

You have just successfully added a new Property to your Real Estate Software. You can edit the details in this Property Listing at any time by coming back to this tab.
